How often are grades updated?

I usually enter grades once a week.

What does the "m" mean?

In the online InTouch gradeline, the "m" stands for "missing." Whenever a
student has not returned an assignment for any reason, I enter "m" when
posting grades. This is to alert the student, parents, and me that an
assignment needs to be submitted. When the assignment is returned, a grade
will be entered into the gradebook. Late penalties may be deducted in
accordance with school policy (see the ELA Student Handbook page 29,
accessible from my Links page).

What does "inc" mean?

"Inc" stands for incomplete. The student attempted the assignment, but it
remains incomplete. When the assignment is completed, the grade will be
entered.
