What does the "m" mean?
In the online InTouch gradeline, the "m" stands for "missing." Whenever a student has not returned an assignment for any reason, I enter "m" when posting grades. This is to alert the student, parents, and me that an assignment needs to be submitted. When the assignment is returned, a grade will be entered into the gradebook. Late penalties may be deducted in accordance with school policy (see the ELA Student Handbook page 29, accessible from my Links page).Back to Top
