I received my bachelor's degree in physiological psychology from the
University of Colorado at Boulder. This was an honors track program with a
focus in the neurosciences.
I received my teaching certification (grades 1-8) from the University of New
Orleans in 2003. I have taught middle school science for 5 years and 8th
grade math for 2 years. I am close to finishing my master's in science
education, but my progress was interrupted by Hurricane Katrina. I hope to
finish in the coming year.
