CREATIVE WRIITNG
We are finished! Students were given their class writing folder containing
all the assignments they did this year. Parents make sure you take a look at
these. Students were also allowed to copy their electronic writing folderS
to a jump drive if they had one.

ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE
Students work on assignments given by their academic teacher for the
appropriate class. I try to work with students on homework, projects, and
test preparation individually as much as I can in a multi-grade, multi-
subject class. Students also work on skill remediation and
reinforcement using a school-based program called Compass Learning. Aligned
with the state standards in math and language arts, the Compass Learning
program provides students with a plan of instruction, interactive
activities, and assessments based on MAP scores.
