I began working at Woodruff Primary School in 1999 as a Reading Recovery
teacher. I have never worked with a group of teachers as knowledgeable
about how children learn as the teachers at WPS. As an Administrative
Assistant, my work with teachers involves researching best practices, staff
development, and planning strategies to increase student achievement. The
WPS faculty is a hard-working, dedicated group of people who care about the
education and safety of all of the students. We know how important it is to
give the students the tools they need to be good readers. We are always
seeking ways to better ourselves as professionals so that the students will
love learning and will know how to be independent learners.
