Hello, I am Annette Craig. I would like to welcome you and your child to our first grade class. I look forward to working with and learning about you and your child this year. I became a teacher because I cared about children and wanted to help them learn. I earned my bachelor’s degree in education from the then USCS and my master’s degree from Converse. I went on to compile my master’s plus 30 from Converse, USCS, Citadel, and Furman. I obtained my National Board Certification in December of 2006 after preparing a portfolio of evidence of self study and accomplishments & completing a written assessment demonstrating knowledge of best practices for early childhood education. Although this year will be my 25th year teaching, I feel as if it’s the first because I have so much to learn about and from our class. I am married and have 2 children. My husband is a machine operator. My son is a junior at Clemson studying to become a high school math and science teacher and coach. My daughter is a senior at Woodruff High School.
