A NOTE!
Thank you for doing the interviews with your child. What an exciting
activity that was! We pinned on a map where the person was born. Many are
from South Carolina, but we have some that were from Michigan, Alabama, and
Pennsylvania. We learned a great deal about how some things have changed and
some things have stayed the same.
Our disguised turkeys are receiving a lot of attention on our bulletin
board. Not only do I have a class of creative students, but parents as well.
We have loved the turkeys and reading your stories. We have everything from
Shrek to Hannah Montana to a Chef to Santa Claus and everything in between.
The children are very proud of the work and couldn’t wait for me to show
their turkey. Thank you for taking the time to do this ~ I can see their
writing improve as a result.
