for parents and educators.

This site provides parents with book titles related to Lexile Ranges 
(reading levels). Lexile Ranges are determined by a student's performance on 
the reading portion of the Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) that second 
graders take. Parents can search for titles that will be on the student's 
appropriate reading level. Teachers can supply parents with Lexile Ranges 
following MAP testing.

The Exploring Nature Educational Resource site  is intended for grades K-8 
and features a searchable database of more than 1,500 animals categorized by 
classification (mammals, birds, etc.),  by trait (scavengers, carnivores, 
etc.) by habitat (rainforest animals, desert animals) and by geographic 
location.  Additional resource databases include plants, trees, biomes, 
adaptations, space and the human body.  The site also features Nature 
Movies, Ask the Zoo Vet, Scientists You Should Know, Invasive Species, and 
much more.
