About The Teacher

Hello! I am Princess Lipscomb. I am married to Doug Lipscomb and I have
3 daughters. Samantha is a senior this year. Jennifer is married and lives
in Cowpens with her husband Garrett and their new son, Andrew. She teaches
kindergarten in Gaffney. Jessica is married and lives in Jonesborough,
Tennessee with her husband and my two grandsons, Adam and Braeden.
I am originally form New Bern, NC. I graduated with a Bachelors of
Science from Appalachian State University. I received my Master’s Degree in
Education from the University of South Carolina. I continued taking courses
and have been certified with my Specialist Certificate. I am certified in
Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Reading. I am a
National Board Certified Teacher also.
I have been teaching at Woodruff Primary School for 29 years. I have
taught kindergarten, first, and second grade. I have been teaching
kindergarten for the past 8 years. I really enjoy what I do. It gives me
great joy!
I enjoy reading, camping, traveling, riding bicycles, and hiking. I am
willing to try almost anything. I love sharing my adventures with your
children. They will tell you about them. I want your children to know that
they can do anything they want to if they try hard enough. They are capable
of everything. Learning never stops. We will learn new things every day that
we live. When we stop learning, we stop living.
When you teach children, you become a part of their lives. I will be a
fiber of their being for the rest of their lives. I want it to be a great
experience for all of us. I love the children and I work to make our
relationship a positive one. I want them to love learning so much that they
can’t wait to come back and learn even more. I want them to learn so
naturally that it is fun, exciting, and part of their daily lives at school
and at home. Thank you for sharing your children with me. I love them and
will hold them in my heart just as I hold my own children.

Mission For The Class

I want to provide a safe and caring environment in which all children can
learn. I want all of the children to develop a curiosity that builds a life
of learning.
