PROFESSIONAL:
I serve an assistant principal at Woodruff Primary School. Before becoming
an assistant principal, I taught third grade in Loganville, Georgia and
first grade in Jacksonville, Florida. Since a little girl, I have always
enjoyed being with children. I know that it is truly a gift that God have
blessed me with.
I continue to be a life long learner. I completed my undergraduate degree in
early childhood education from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro,
Georgia. I received a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from University of
North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida. I am currently enrolled in the
doctoral program at Walden University. I look forward to completing this
degree.
PERSONAL:
I am married to Tyvallis (Ty) Dawkins. He is an assistant principal at Gable
Middle School. We have been married a little over a year.
I am orginally from Jacksonville, Florida so, besides shopping visiting my
family is one of my favorite things to do. I love to travel. Ty and I like
to travel in the summer. Last summer, we went to Las Vegas for our
anniversary.
