PROFESSIONAL:

I serve an assistant principal at Woodruff Primary School. Before becoming 
an assistant principal, I taught third grade in Loganville, Georgia and 
first grade in Jacksonville, Florida. Since a little girl, I have always 
enjoyed being with children. I know that it is truly a gift that God have 
blessed me with.

I continue to be a life long learner. I completed my undergraduate degree in 
early childhood education from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, 
Georgia. I received a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from University of 
North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.

PERSONAL:

I am married to Tyvallis (Ty) Dawkins. He is the principal at Fairforest 
Middle School. We are expecting our first child in early February. We are 
thrilled and can't wait to meet our bundle of joy.

I am orginally from Jacksonville, Florida so, besides shopping visiting my 
family is one of my favorite things to do. I love to travel. Ty and I like 
to travel in the summer. Over summer, we went on an Western Caribbean 
cruise. We really enjoyed ourselves.
