No Book Left Unread

 
Woodruff Primary and Woodruff Elementary Schools combined to make one school 
for the No Book Left Unread Summer Reading Challenge.  We had a total of 115 
faculty and staff participating and 41 students who recorded reading a total 
of 184,306 pages during the summer.

Student participant, Oscar DeLeon (WES) read 5,789 pages.
Faculty and Staff participant, Jenny Lynn Thackston (WPS) read 17,068.

The grand total of pages read in the state was 31,954,924.

We know we had a lot more reading going on than was reported.  Next year, we 
hope to have every one turn in their informtion.  I am so glad that our 
students read this summer.  The dividends will pay in a great way!
