I have lived in the Woodruff area all of my life. I am a
graduate of Woodruff High School. I am married to Paul Lanford who is also
a graduate of Woodruff High School and is an estimating engineer for Crowder
Industrial. We live on Edgewood Circle in Woodruff. Our son, Brad is 21 years
old and is a senior at Clemson University majoring in engineering. We
have two cats, Molly and Max.
I graduated from Anderson College, Lander University, and I have a
masters plus 30 hours in Early Childhood Education from the University of
South Carolina. I completed my National Board Certification in 2001.
I have been teaching 1st Grade at Woodruff Primary School for 31 years. I
love teaching first grade and have never wanted to teach another grade. It
is very rewarding to watch the children grow as readers. I was Woodruff
Primary School and Spartanburg District Four Teacher of the Year in 1999.
To be the best they can be.
