   About Our 2012-2013 Class

Welcome to 2nd grade at Bell's Crossing Elementary.
We currently have 18 students; 10 boys and 8
girls.
Join us as we strive to have a Mons-TERRIFIC Year!

Our Class Mission Statement was written by students on the first day of school!
We used the five whys strategy to help us write it.
Our Class Mission:

We go to school to learn so we can get smarter.  We need to know lots of stuff so that we can get into college and get good jobs.  If we have good jobs, we'll be able to make money to buy the things our families need.

Learn About Our Class Through Data!
During the first week of school, students partnered together to survey their classmates about their interests.  After recording classmates' answers, students tallied the responses and created a table of the results.  This table was used to complete a graph to display data about our new class.
