Author Studies

Each month, I will read aloud a chapter book to the class.  For the rest of the month, read-alouds will be centered around a specific author so that students can learn to analyze an author's craft.  Students will look for "fingerprints" of the author - those characteristics that help to set his/her books apart from other authors' books.
