Assessment

Student/Teacher Evaluation Upon completion of each project the student will fill out a self-evaluation based on criteria for the assignment.  This allows the student to examine and evaluate the success of their artwork.  Final grade will be based on Teacher Evaluation with consideration of student evaluation. 

Criteria for Assessment may include but is not limited to:

Craftsmanship: the student shows mastery of artistic techniques.

Composition: the artwork is placed in a visually appealing arrangement. The artwork is eye catching and holds the viewer’s attention.

Creativity and Originality: the artwork is based on the artist’s personal ideas and vision.

Presentation:the artwork is clean and neatly presented.

Fulfills the requirements of the assignment.
