The mission of
Atoka Elementary School is to provide opportunities for student excellence and
to encourage student academic growth, ensuring a strong foundation as lifelong
learners.
I am SO proud of my class for their giving attitude! Our class raised $236.61 and the entire school raised $4000 for St. Jude! I appreciate how my students gave their ice cream money and emptied out their piggy banks for this fundraiser.
Have a fantastic summer break!

ATES DRESS CODE and reminders:
As the weather gets warmer, please refer to our school dress code in the front of your child’s agenda. Please remember:
*Shorts must come to the knee
*No flip-flops. Athletic shoes are preferred.
Per ATES school policy, cupcakes must be store bought with an ingredients list (due to food allergies).
Donations needed:
AR testing: If your child reads a book at least three times and is able to answer questions about it, please write the name of the book and the author (because lots of books have the same title and I need to know which one they read) in the agenda and I will let them AR test. Need to check to see if the book is in AR? Check out AR Bookfind in my "links" section.

Parents, please remember that if your child needs to change the regular way they go home in the afternoon, we must have it in writing. Please send a note so that there is no confusion at dismissal. Telling your child is not enough. Thank you for your understanding.
The information on this website is provided to answer most questions you may have.
Please check it often.

Snack cart will be running every Friday. Prices range from $.10 - $1.00.
A Note from the Cafeteria:
There is NO CHARGING in the cafeteria. Please make sure your child has lunch money for each day. It is easiest to send a check for the week or month.

Just some reminders:
Please remember to send a note (Dr. note, if possible) each time your child is absent from school.
This includes early check-outs.
**When sending money, please send a check or correct change.
**Please send a separate check for agenda and bookstore items.
**Write your child's name and my name on all checks.
Also, every child needs his/her own pair of headphones. You can find inexpensive ones at the Dollar Tree, Big Lots, Family Dollar, and Fred's. We use these in our centers and reading group and they are required for Computer class.
Your teacher loves you!!
