I am in my 21st year of teaching. Fifteen of those years were spent teaching
resource. I have been at BES all but one year.
I have been married for 23 years to Charlie Qualls. We have a son who is a
senior at PCHS and a daughter who is a freshmen at PCHS. Both of the
kids are very active in sports. We, as a family, love most all sports and
many outdoor activities. We love to golf, water and snow ski, boat, camp,
etc.
I strive to teach the students lessons that they will take with them in their
walk of life. Many skills and lesson are learned early on and may be helpful
down the road. Focusing on kindness, fairness and manners are one of the
main goals for this third grade class. As you know, the T-Cap is the major
focus of the administration and supervisors. I will strive to teach the
students the benchmarks,student performance indicators and objectives that
will be administered on that test.
