I have been teaching for thirty six years. For the first thirty-one
years I taught in Georgia, and I am now in my sixth year at Benton
Elementary. I live in Ooltewah with my husband who is very supportive.
My son, Matt, also lives in Chattanooga. My daughter, Emily, and her
husband
live in Colorado. They have one daughter, a four year old,
Madeline, who is the apple of my eye.
My goal as a third grade teacher is to encourage and assist my students to
master the basic third grade curriculum objectives while developing an
appreciation and love for learning in itself which should motivate them
toward further learning on their own.
