If your child is a new 4^th or 5^th grader, I would highly recommend purchasing the home version of the keyboarding software we use here at school. Your child comes to computer class only once per week for 45 minutes. That is just not enough time or practice for new students to catch-up in the program. With the program at home, your child can move faster along in the program by doing lessons over the weekend or getting extra keyboarding practice to increase his/her speed and accuracy. They will simply print out the “Records Library” which is a part of the program and bring it in to me. I will give credit for lesson done at home for those students who are behind.
