Ms. Miller has been a music specialist in the Putnam County School system for
13 years. She holds a B.M. and an M.A. from Tennessee Tech University as well
as Level 1 certification from the Choral Music Experience Institute. Ms.
Miller is a member of the American Choral Directors Association and the Music
Educators National Conference. Her students have performed at division and
national conventions, Walt Disney World, and Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Ms Miller is currently pursuing a PhD in Music Education at the University of
Toronto in Ontario, Canada.
ALL children have the natural desire and ability to produce, practice, and
perform a variety of high quality literature. Based on the National Standards
for Music Education, Capshaw students listen, perform, and create music of
many different genres.
