HAPPY, HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EACH OF YOU!!  I hope you enjoy your holidays with
the ones you love!

A few reminders:

SPELLING TEST will be on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 17TH!! BE PREPARED!:>)  The words
for this week are difficult-so, please start studying now.  Thanks!

Holiday Brunch will be on Thursday, December 17th around 8:00 am.

Christmas Play will be on December 18th at 8:15 am.

Send in an unwrapped gift for Toys for Tots as soon as possible.

AR deadline is a week from Monday-December 14th.  The magic show will be on
Wednesday, December 16th.

Readers' Theater will be next week-remember the book must be read in 3 minutes
or less-please practice!

Reading:
Story for the week is: "Tomas Rivera""
Vocabulary words are:  about  books  by   family   grew   read   work  writing
We will be identifying characters in stories.
We will be identifying nouns.
We will be writing riddles.

Spelling Words are:  
quit  quick  quiz  whiz  which  when  arm  card  who  there

Phonics:
NO new phonics lessons this week-we will be reviewing some of the key concepts
we have covered this year.

Math:
We will study ordering numbers through 100.
We will identify ordinal numbers from 1st through 10th.
We will use 10 to estimate how many in all.

Unit:
Christmas Customs
