I am a life long native of Cookeville. As a child, I attended Capshaw
Elementary School which I have many fond memories. I graduated from Tennessee
Technological University in 1991 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I began
my teaching career at Sycamore Elementary School. I taught third grade for
seven years before staying home with my children. This is my sixth year at
Capshaw and I absolutely love it.
I am married to Danny Smith who is a pharmacist at Cookeville Regional
Medical Center. We have two children, Addie who is in eighth grade and Drake
who is in fifth grade.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with your child. We are
going to have a great year.
