words each week:
1. Alphabetize the words.
2. Divide each word into syllables.
3. Write each word and circle the vowels.
4. Write each word and circle the consonants.
5. Write each word and cross out any silent letters.
6. Write and neatly frame/configure each word.
7. Make a set of flash cards for studying your words..
8. Use each word in a sentence and underline the spelling word.
9. Record words on a cassette tape and practice with a tape recorder.
10. Locate the words in your reading book.
11. For each spelling word, write two words with the same spelling pattern.
12. Write a story using the words. Underline each word.
13. Create a comic strip using the words.
14. Write the word in shaving cream with your fingers.
15. Spread pudding on a plate. Write the word with your fingers , then eat
the pudding.
16. Create spelling trees.
