What does an elementary counselor do?

The majority of my day is spent in teaching classroom guidance lessons. The
remainder of the time is spent with children individually or in small groups.
Occasionally, I do some academic tutoring to enhance a student's self esteem
and provide needed review. I collaborate with teachers, parents and other
school personnel to provide the best possible services.
