WELCOME BACK! I hope you enjoyed the holidays as much as I did, but I
miss you and I am anxious to see you. I have in-service on Monday, January 4
so I will see you on Tuesday, January 5th when the 2nd semester of school begins.
I hope you have lots of new school supplies to begin this term. You will
need new pencils, crayons, and glue as well as other things you know you do
not have.
Please remember to bring a snack, lunch money if needed, and warm
clothing in layers so you can take off or add as needed.
Hayden now has 40 AR points!! Brayden, Jaci Kate, and Ella are right
behind with over 20 points. Austin, Barrett, Ali, Eli, and Jaxon have ten
points. I am so proud of these readers and all the readers in my class. New AR
goals will be set up next week, but start reading now. Please remember to read
each book 3 times before you take a test. You must have an 85% average as well
as earn the points.
If you have moved or have a different phone number or address than you
have given the school, please update that material. Nothing is scarier to a
teacher than having a hurt or sick child and not being able to contact a
parent. Please make sure we have the newest and best way to contact you.
Mrs. Wright is encouraging all the students to learn the states and
capitals. Please practice these at home with your child. They will get their
name on the Wall of Honor!
Our specials will be computer lab, music, and PE. The schedule will
repeat every fourth day. We will have Guidance on Monday and Library on
Tuesday. Our Lunch time will be from 11:45-12:15.
Play practice has me confused about our encore classes. I will post P.E. and
Music when I am sure of the schedule. Wear gym shoes just in case!!!!!
