Homework for the week of December 7:
READING:
This week we will read the story DID YOU SEE CHIP?. Please study the
words for this story. They are the first list on the 1.3 page. The words are:
city: big town
house: a kind of building
sometimes: every now and then
take: to go by way of
there: in that place
ENGLISH:
Nouns are the thing, person, place, or animal for this week. We will
review the naming and telling parts of a sentence. We will practice making the
nouns plural.
SPELLING:
White List: far, farm, arm, art, cart, card, chin, inch, live, and soon
Pink List: day, say, blister, winter, bathtub, gumdrop, softness, helpless,
saying, driveway, does, and from.
WRITING:
We will write about pets this week.
MATH:
Chapter 10 is about identifying numbers to 99 by how many tens and how
many ones.
SOCIAL STUDIES:
We will be talking about our country and our different customs and their
origin.
