Tuesday January 5--In class students completed lesson 1 from chapter 5 and
focused on material from text (settling New England Colonies) as well as
summarizing and recognizing main idea from each selection.
students should record vocabulary on vocabulary page and "take notes" on the
three people discussed in the lesson--William Penn, Anne Hutchison, Roger
Williams. These "notes" should be kept in student binders and added to each day.
Wednesday January 6- Students will read and discuss lesson 2 from chapter 5
and add to notes and focus on recognizing FACTS AND OPINIONS.
