Happy Thanksgiving! I feel so blessed to have your delightful children in my class
this year. They make me smile. I hope you enjoy the holidays with your families.
I'm looking forward to seeing you at our second grade production of "Hooray for
Thanksgiving" on Tuesday, November 24 in the cafeteria. Our perfomance begins at 9:15
Many have already met AR goals. Encourage your child to be taking those quizzes. Don't wait until
the last minute! Read! Read! Read!
Purchase a Kroger card for $5.00 at Capshaw. Send the money to me or
purchase it in the office. The card will have a $5 credit on it. Load the
card with the amount you want at Kroger's information desk. The card can be
reloaded indefinitely. Pay for your groceries with the card & Capshaw will
receive 4% of your bill.
Please remember to let the school office know if you have a change of phone number, address, or
other information. Thanks!!
Library News~ Beginning October 5th the library will be open from 7:00-7:45 every Monday through
Thursday mornings for children to take AR tests. It will also be opening on Saturdays from 9:00-
12:00 beginning October 10.
Please remember to send a healthy snack daily. Our lunch time is later so a good snack keeps them
going. Also remember not to send peanut items or nuts because we do have a child with a nut
allergy.
