I have lived in Cookeville for 31 years. I am married to Lee Webb and have

and works at Baxter Elementary. She and her husband Chris have one child Mary Grace who is
soon to be three and are expecting their second child ,a boy named to be named Graham around the
17th of September. My second daughter Allison also lives in Cookeville. Allison is attending TTU and
is working on a master's degree in counseling. She has one son Aiden who is three. My son Drew is
a senior at the University at Tennesseee and is majoring in political science.

I earned a M.Ed. in early childhood curriculum and instruction from Middle
Tennessee State University and have 17 additional hours of post-graduate
study.

I have taught kindergarten for 12 years and sixth grade for three. This
begins my thirteenth year of teaching kindergarten at Capshaw. Much of my
previous experience has been as an administrator of pre-school programs. I
have directed Cumberland Presbyterian Nursery School, Creative Learning and
the TTU Child Development Laboratory. These experiences have strengthened
my understanding of young children and their development prior to the
kindergarten year.

In the little spare time I have I am totally devoted to enjoying my adult
children and GRANDCHILDREN! I also enjoy reading, walking, drinking coffee
and being outside!!

In the classroom,in addition to assisting children to learn to their
potential and stretch their academic growth, I have a strong priority for
maintaining a developmentally appropriate classroom setting and seeking to
allow the children to enjoy being children!!

CLASS MISSION STATEMENT
