LUNCH-10:50-11:20
SPECIALS-Monday-Computer Lab, Tuesday-Guidance and Music, Wednesday-PE,
Thursday-Computer Lab, Friday-Library and Music
READING-Our reading story this week is "Little Grunt and the Big Egg". This
selection is a fantasy. We will focus on components of fantasies and look at
word relationships in text. We will also compare this fantasy story to a
narrative non-fiction story. A test over the story is Thursday.
LANGUAGE-Plural nouns will be our skill again this week, but we focus on nouns
that are irregular when made plural. A DOL quiz will be on Friday.
SPELLING-Our words focus on /oi/ sounds. A bonus word is on my
spelling link. A test will be Friday.
SCIENCE- Mrs. Brooks' room will be finishing Chapter 3. The test will be
November 12.
SOCIAL STUDIES- My class will be with Mrs. Brooks. Please check her website
for details.

MATH-A 9's multiplication facts quiz will be Tuesday, November 10th.
We will finish Chapter 3- Money and test on Thursday, November 12th.
The order of multiplications facts tested is 0&1, 2, 5, 10, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9,
11, and 12's.
Homework will be assigned on a regular basis, but should not take more than
10-15 minutes. Your child will have an opportunity to start it at school,
but needs to bring it home for your review. Please sign each night and
return it the next day.
If your child struggled with anything in particular, please make a note on
their homework.
