Our plans for the week of January 5th . Please check back throughout the week, as our plans can always change. LUNCH-10:50-11:20 SPECIALS-Monday-, Tuesday- and Guidance, Wednesday- Thursday-,Friday- Library and READING-Our story this week is "Centerfield Ballhawk" . We will discuss time order clues and compare this realistic fiction story to a non-fiction article. The test will be Thursday over this story. LANGUAGE-We will learn about singular and plural pronouns. A DOL quiz will be on Friday. SPELLING- Words this week focus on words our /oo/ and /ou/ sounds. The test will be Friday. A bonus word is on the spelling link page. SCIENCE- My class will begin Chapter 9-How Things Move. A study guide will be in your child's Monday folder which will go home on Tuesday:) . The test will be January 12th. You can access lesson summaries in your science book at http://www.mhschool.com/science/2002/student/unitlist.php3? vGrade=3&vAlt=Birds MATH-We will skip around in Chapter 8 hitting standards and will continue with verbal multiplication quizzes NEXT Tuesday,12th. Check your child's binder to see what facts they still need to say. Homework will be assigned on a regular basis, but should not take more than 10-15 minutes. Your child will have an opportunity to start it at school, but needs to bring it home for your review. Please sign each night and return it the next day.
