Parents:

 

Look inside your child's Take Home Reader Folder in their binder.  I have put in your child's first reader.  Practice throughout the week with your child and then rate the story and return to school for a new reader each week.

 

*  Your child received a RIF book during library time this past week.  It is your child's to keep.  Enjoy reading together!

*Yearbooks are $20.00, so make plans to reserve one for you and your family.

*  I like to see if some of you could send in some bulb or even some pansies to plant in our class Kinder"garden"  right out side of our classroom door.  If you would be willing to purchase some and send them in this week that would be greatly appreciated.

 

*  Please remember to sign and return your child's report card.

*  BOOK-IT Pizza forms can be turned in for November.

*NOTE:  Every WEDNESDAY is Spirit Day so wear your Capshaw Shirt or Orange and Blue.

 

*  STARTING  October 5--On Monday's and Thursday's the the library will be opened from 7:00-7:45 for AR testing if you have taken a STAR test and are in the computer. (NOTE:  I am just passing this information along most of our kindergarteners are not yet ready for this.)  Library opened on SAT.  for  the  LEAPS program will start on Oct. 10th from 9-12.  Please use the Kindergarten hallway entrance.
