I was born and raised in Nashville,Tn.by my wonderful parents Robert and Peggy
Bruce along with four sisters. I have a BS and a Masters degree from TTU .
I am married to Sandy Stanton and we have two incredible children, Robert and
Christi, who are grown and married. Christi's husband is Tim and they live in
Birmingham, Al. Robert's wife is Whitney and they live on the outskirts of
Knoxville, TN. We have four grandsons named David Stanton Cheek and his little
brother, Cahlin Martin Cheek who live in Alabama. We also have Jackson Harris
Stanton and his little brother, Bennett Cole Stanton that live on the out
skirts of Knoxville, Tennessee. This will be my 36th year to teach elementary
school. I have taught grades one through five. I love children! I can not
think of anything more fun to do, than to help a child find their own talents.
To learn, grow, love, be creative, and respect others, while learning some more!
