Hello!
I'm Stephanie Wendt and I'm looking forward to spending the new year with your
children! My husband, Jeremy, teaches technology at TTU to the student
teachers and practicum students that come to our school. We have two sons,
Kyle, 9, and Grant, 4 years. Kyle is in 4th grade at Capshaw.
I have received my Bachelor's, Master's, and Education Specialist degrees from
TTU. This is my 9th year at Capshaw, and I taught in Sparta prior to that.
My family enjoys going to the YMCA. I love the new spin classes (and have seen
some of you there!) I also enjoy riding Honey, my Arabian mare, when I find
the time. In the summer we love to water ski and swim. We also enjoy going
for walks when the weather is pleasant. We manage to stay quite busy in my
household and we love spending time together.
I hope to awaken curiosity within your child and motivate him/her into seeking
the answers (s)he desires. I believe all children can be motivated and
should be encouraged to have high aspirations for themselves. Teaching is one
part knowledge, one part patience, and one part TLC. I want your child to
look back at 3rd grade with fond memories . I will do my best to make 3rd
grade a fun learning experience for your child.
