SOCIAL STUDIES: This week we will have a test over Chapter 7--Southern Colonies on Tuesday. I
will give out a Units 1-3 study guide on Tuesday, as well, and the Unit 1-3 Test will be given on
Friday. On Wednesday and Thursday, we will create our own colonies in a small group project!

Students may return study guides on test day with a parent signature and how long he/she studied
for 5 bonus points on the test.

When studying for social studies, I encourage you to focus on the information on the study guide.
The study guide is taken directly from the test. It would be helpful to go over this information for a
few minutes each night to avoid the last minute "cramming" for the test.

*I have sent home username and passwords for the online S.S. book--they are taped inside cover of
the planner. Go to my links page to access the website.

LANGUAGE: We will begin Chapter 7 over nouns and enjoy lots of activities dealing with
common/proper, singular/plural, and abbreviations/titles. DOL quiz is on Friday.
Wonderkids should have DOL in orange Cougar folder and should study it before the quiz.

*Don't forget to check Ms. Hale's website for Math & Science info.

I am thankful for Wonderkids and Hotshots!
