I can hardly believe that we are half-way through this school year!  I am blessed to teach this wonderful group of children.  I truly appreciate the support you have shown me this year--it makes a big difference in your child's education!!!

Thank you for all the wonderful gifts for Christmas!!!  I enjoyed my meal at Nick's with the faculty, and I can't wait to use the gift card that you gave me!!!

Students return to school January 5--I'll be looking forward to seeing your Wonderkid then!!!
Have wonderful Winter Break!

*Our specials schedule will vary week to week, so be sure and check our website on THIS WEEK link!
*Check your child's planner each night--if there is nothing written in it--something is wrong!  Wonderkids should be writing on Mondays, assignments that we already know will be due.  As the week progresses, they should add to the planner, if needed (math, unfinished work from school, etc).

*Ask your Wonderkid about Study Island! They have enjoyed playing at school and are welcome to explore Study Island at home with your permission.

I have added a HOMEWORK page to my website. This will give you an idea of what assignments your child is expected to complete each week. Students are given time each day to write in planners and should use them as a tool. Daily assignments could
be adjusted, and ultimately the students are responsible for having assignments completed. This is the time to make students accountable--it will benefit them in the "long run."

*PLEASE STUDY MULTIPLICATION and DIVISION MATH FACTS!!!!!

---Please check your child's planner for homework assignments. Some assignments are long-term, so students need to work a little each night. This is the time to develop good work habits!

*Check out THIS WEEK for curriculum info!
