I am Mrs. Wren Saylors, formerly Heckmann. With the help of my last
kindergarten class my loving husband, Andrew Saylors, proposed to me this past
April and we were married July 4th.
This is my fifth year teaching. I spent my first two years teaching
kindergarten, taught one year of transitional first grade, and returned to
kindergarten. It is such a fun age the children keep me laughing and
learning. I love it!
I feel so blessed to be part of the Capshaw family. I am a Capshaw kid
myself. I have was born and raised in Cookeville. I graduated from Tennessee
Tech in 2004 with my Bachelors degree in Multidisciplinary Studies. I am
interested in getting my Masters degree or National Board Certification before
starting my own family.
I am very excited about this year. I want it to be a great beginning for your
children.
I want to make an environment where your children are eager to and enjoy
learning. I want them to feel respected, nurtured, and loved!
