Mrs. Travis's Treasure's parents,
     Wow!  It's great to be back from the holidays.  Thanks to all you
parents that helped with the Christmas party.  We had a great time.  I
heard many say that it was their most fun ever!!
     We will be having regular weeks for this whole month[without any
snow].  We will really be into the "meat" of third grade. We will be
having science this week with a test scheduled for next Tues.,Jan
12th.  Math facts will still be so important.  We will begin orally
presenting the facts.  Students will say as many of the tables as they
can when called upon.  They will stop when they miss.  That is where
they will begin the next time.  This will be done individually, at my
desk.  Once a student finishes this, they will move on to the division
facts.  I hope we all get to division quickly!  Remember-
multiplication.com   seems to be the site of choice in my room to
study facts on computer.  Study Island is a very good way for your
child to practice all subjects at home.  It is very test friendly
also.  Thank you for all the things you do at home to help your child
succeed.  I appreciate you!
