Happy New Year and Welcome back!!! I hope your Christmas Break was wonderful just like mine!! It was great to get to sleep in and spend time with my family!! There are just a few things I would like to remind you of as we start this new year. One thing that I would like for you to do sometime this week is take a look at your child's pencil pouch. It is time to think about restocking our crayons, scissors, glue stick, pencil, etc. I will be doing a check on these things next week, so please try and restock sometime this week. For the ones that do have all of their needed items in their pencil pouch there will be a special treat!! Another item that needs to be addressed is your school closing procedure. Please talk to your child about what they should do if the school does close early for snowy weather. Kids often get worried that their parents will not know when school closes, it would be nice for you to reinforce that you watch the weather reports and will know when school are closing.
