Hello! My name is Tera Brooks and this is my fourteenth year teaching. I am
really excited about this school year and all that we will be learning. I am
a native of Cookeville and have been married to my wonderful husband, Sam for
fourteen years. We have one son named Will (9), and a little girl Halle Beth
(almost 3). I received my degree in elementary education from Tennessee
Tech. Three years ago, I finished my masters degree in Instructional Leadership
from TTU as well. I began teaching Third grade at Capshaw right after I
graduated from TTU. I have taught second and third grade here at Capshaw
and I have taught fifth and sixth at Prescott. I am very optimistic about
what this year has in store for us!!
My mission for our class is to experience learning in a fun, hands-on manner,
while instilling a sense of self-confidence, enthusiasm for learning, and the
third grade curriculum.
