A WORD FROM MS. THURMAN:

Thanks to those parents who sent in items from our class wish list.  We can use any 
of those things throughout the year!
Also, our Christmas Giving Project this year is to help save the Cookeville
Children's Museum.  A note was sent home last week with the list wish
from them.  If you would like to know more about the Children's Museum as
well as their wish list, you may go to their website:   www.cookevillechildrensmuseum.org

UPCOMING EVENTS
 
Our Polar Express Christmas Party will be this Friday,  Dec. 18 from 8:15-9:15 a.m.  Students may 
wear their pajamas for this special party. All parents are welcome to attend.
This is a 10:00 dismissal day.

The deadline for this nine weeks AR goal will be Dec. 14 at 3:30.  Remember, 
students need to have a 85% comprehension score as well as the number of
points for their goal in order to go to the AR party.

Class Wish List

We could use the following items for our classroom:

cheap paper towels
magic erasers
pencils 
individually wrapped candy for treat box
kleenex

Please let the office, as well as me, know if you have any address or phone 
number changes that are different from your original data sheet that you
filled out at the beginning of the year.

Also, if your child is absent, you must send a note explaining the absence.
This has to be kept on file in the office.
