My name is Kerry Veurink and I am the art teacher here at Carroll Oakland.
This is my fifth art. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in ceramics and
have been an artist
for many years making and selling my own work. I have taught several
workshops, and ceramics to
homeschool children. It was during my time teaching homeschool children that
I really began to
enjoy teaching children about art so I decided to go back to school and get
my teaching certificate. I
love and am grateful for what I do and for having the opportunity to educate
your child about the
wonders of art.
My mission for art class is to give students the best art education that I
can. I want my students to
experience creating all types of art using a variety of techniques and
materials.
