S.S. Nine Weeks Exam is tomorrow, Oct. 1st. Students should review
vocabulary from chpt. 1 of the old S.S. textbook and chpt. 2 of the new S.S.
textbook. Also, review map skills, continents, oceans, NE and SE states,
and the Branches of Government: Executive (President), Legislative
(Senate/House of Representatives), and Judicial (Supreme Court/Judges/Court
System).
Who is our current U.S. President? Vice President?
Who are the Democratic and Republican candidates for President? Who are
their running mates?
We will be watching National Treasure Thursday afternoon and
Friday. Please be sure your child has turned in his/her permission
slip to do so since this movie is rated PG.
