Christian Academy of the Cumberlands is an independent nondenominational Christian school that exists to educate students with college preparatory classes with a strong emphasis in math and science in the context of a commitment to the Christian faith.

A good education begins when a child's school experience is a positive one. Therefore, the enjoyment of learning is a top priority at CAC. Our philosophy of education at CAC is based on three main premises- Christian worldview, Academic Excellence, and Character. Teaching with a Christian worldview is basically examining every aspect of life in the light of God's truth. We strive for excellence in all areas in our programs and have placed very highly in academic competitions as well as scoring above the 85th percentile in the nation in our achievement testing. We also seek to encourage traditional values of faith in God, purity of mind and heart, love of family and country, respect for authority, service to others, hard work, and honesty in all things.
