May I go to the restroom?

We will take a mid-class break each day for those of you who need to go to
the restroom or need a drink of water. For additional trips out of class,
you will have to use one of the three free exit passes you get in LA each six
weeks. Once you have used your exit passes, you will get a demerit for each
extra trip out of class.

Will I have much homework in language arts?

Assignments for the most part will be completed in class. If you waste time
and don't get your work done, then you will have homework.

Do I have to do Accelerated Reader?

Yes! You are expected to read two AR books on your reading level a nine
weeks and complete an assignment on each book. You are also
required to take the AR tests that go with the books. All AR tests must be
taken in the language arts classroom.
