**Students will be reading there second novel in the weeks leading to
Christmas. They will be responsible for several different activities
relating to their book (including a test). We will be listening to the
majority of the novel in class.
6th Grade---From the Mixed Up Files of Basil E. Frankweiler
7th Grade---Holes
8th Grade---The Giver
**Students will also be gearing up for 9 weeks and semester tests. Please
encourage your child to study for tests.
--In my class the semester test will be a review of literary genres and
literary elements. A study guide will be provided.
--Their nine weeks test will be over some of the vocabulary they have covered
so far in their textbook and novels.
