We have done a lot of reviewing this week. We worked on the letter and sound
of Ff.
The letters and sounds that your child should know are: Ss, Mm, Rr, Tt, Bb,
Nn, Hh, Aa, Vv , Cc, Pp ,Gg and Ff.
The high frequency words that your child should know
are: “I”, “see”, “my”, “like”, “a”, “to” “an”, “at” ,“and”, “can”, “is”
and “go”.
HOMEWORK
1. Please practice sight words with your child.
2. Please practice counting to 100 with your child. Begin counting by 5’s and
10’s to 100.
3. Read, read, read!
Next Week:
We will discuss the letter and sound of Ll. We will celebrate the 100th Day
of School.
We will continue working on numbers larger than 20. We will begin working on
money.
We will begin learning how to write our first and last name.

Dear Parents,
Can you do me a favor on the circus field trip?
Out of respect for the students who do not have a parent attending
the trip or can not afford extras, please refrain from buying souvenirs for
your child. It is very sad to see a child with a snow cone or light up toy
while others have nothing.
