 Must be completed & turned in within 2 days of receiving your graded chapter test.

You will receive TWO EXTRA CREDIT points PER TEST QUESTION
for each correct response you complete as outlined below.

You may not do part of your test. 
You must do every item missed.
Each question must be on half a sheet of paper.
You may use the back of your paper.

For EACH test question that you missed, you must answer
 (on your own notebook paper)
EACH of the following items:

1st:  What is the correct answer to the test question?
Rewrite the COMPLETE QUESTION from the test
AND rewrite the CORRECT ANSWER in a complete sentence.

2nd:  WRITE THE SECTION NUMBER AND THE PAGE NUMBER
from the text, the workbook, or a worksheet
where you can verify that correct answer. 
Then COPY THAT WHOLE SENTENCE.
 
3rd:  Find a similar question in the chapter review, the section review, or on a worksheet.
Write the page number where you found that item, the question number,
AND write the question and answer that you found.



Here is an example of how your paper should look when you have finished a Test Recovery:

1st:  Q:  Which of the following increases the solubility of a gas in a liquid?
A:  The correct answer is “C”.
Decreasing the temperature increases the solubility of a gas in a liquid.


2nd:   In section 3 page 537, it says:  “Unlike the solubility of most solids in a liquid, the solubility of gases in liquids decreases as the temperature is raised.  The solubility of a gas is lower at high temperatures."
 
3rd: On page 544 in the chapter review, question #7 says: Which of the following increases the solubility of a gas in a liquid? The correct answer on that page was "A." 
Decreasing the temperature increases the solubility of a gas in a liquid.

1st:  Q:  A ___________ has a definite ratio of components.
A:  The correct answer is “D”.
A compound has a definite ratio of components.

2nd:   In section 2 page 528, it says: 
“When a compound forms, the elements join in a specific ratio according to their masses.”

3rd:  On page 531 in the section review, question #1 says:
Identify a compound. What makes it unique?
The correct answer on that page was "when a compound forms,
the elements join in a specific ratio according to their masses."
