DAR GOOD CITIZENS PROGRAM AND SCHOLARSHIP
(Criteria: Senior who has citizenship qualities of Dependability, Leadership, Service, Patriotism is nominated by faculty and voted on by senior class. Student then completes essay on given topic prior to deadline (usually mid-November).  Student presents essay to local DAR if selected to compete at next level for scholarship.)
DAR- NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
(Criteria: NSDAR awards a variety of scholarships through the DAR Scholarship Committee.  All applicants must be citizens of the United States, must attend, or plan to attend, an accredited college or university in the United States, all scholarships of four or more consecutive years or more are renewable only upon review and approval of annual transcript by respective NSDAR Chairman. (Criteria: Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 unweighted grade point average and have been accepted as a full-time student at a four year institution of higher education. GUILDSCHOLAR
(Criteria: Completion of online application, proof of legal blindness, documentation of academic achievement, 3 letters of recommendation, 2 personal statements: one about the applicant and the second describing the influence of an outstanding teacher on your education, college must be accredited by a body of recognizecd by the Council for Higher Education Accreditaion, college admission policies must be nondenominational and open to applicants of all religions, faiths, and beliefs. HAGAN SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION ((Helping Students from Rural Counties)
(Criteria:  Students download application at www.hsfmo.org after September 1 each year and submit by Nov. 15. Must have 3.50 CGPA, must score 23 on ACT, must enroll in college following fall semester, must work 240 hours in the 12 months prior to the start of college, MUST COMPLETE FAFSA from previous year and EFC must be less than $7500. JANICE M. SCOTT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Available to high school students whose high school has scheduled a blood drive between July and following June.
