Testing (ACT,SAT, etc.)


Freshmen entering high school prior to 2009/10 school year were required to 
pass Gateway exam equivalent EOC exam in three subject areas: Algebra I, 
English II and Biology. Freshmen entering high school 2009/10 school year--
not required to pass Gateway or EOC exams AS A GRADUATION REQUIREMENT. 
Freshmen entering high school 2009/10 and following are required to take the 
EOC exams at the end of designated courses.

All students enrolled in Algebra I, English I, Algebra II, English II, 
English III, Biology, Chemistry and U.S. History are required to take the EOC 
tests, as 25% percent of the 2nd 9-week grade in the course. 
*GATEWAY Testing--Students who have passed the course of Algebra I, English 
II or Biology but failed to pass the exam, may take the EOC exam in that 
subject area. Several opportunities are provided: December, May and July 

SAT/College Board
PSAT/National Merit Scholarship Competition or SAT exams

ACT Registration, PLAN test, EXPLORE test, test-taking helps

TN State Testing
PARCC, TCAP Achievement, TCAP Writing, EOC exams

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery

ACT Prep classes offered at Columbia State 2013/14 for five weeks 
prior to the national October test date.  To register go to this
